THE STUDIO

PRODUCTION ROOM is a creative space based in The Business Works studio complex in Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. From songwriting to mixing and mastering, we are here to help you create music that moves people. 

The Production Room studio is ideal for small recording or full mixing, songwriting and production projects.  It is soundproofed and acoustically treated for professional  production needs.  We have an ever-growing collection of industry standard microphones, instruments and recording and mixing equipment from names such as Neumann, Fender, Adam Audio and Universal Audio.

THE PEOPLE

The studio is owned and run by music producer and teacher Lisa Murphy, accompanied by a team of experienced local sound engineers, producers and songwriters with specialist skills to achieve every type of music project.  We pride ourselves on our professional and friendly approach, we get to know you and what you want to achieve with your music so that we can work together to produce your vision.  

OUR WORK

Whether you are a singer-songwriter releasing your first material and developing your sound, or an established artist, we are here to help.  Our experience spans multiple genres and production styles, from singles, to EPs and full album projects. We also produce audio for podcasts, e-books and audio for media and advertising.
